The Challenge

Problem

Solis Energy operates solar installations across Pakistan and needed a unified dashboard to monitor performance, predict maintenance needs, and generate client reports. Existing tools were fragmented and lacked real-time capabilities.

Our Method

Approach

We mapped the data flow from IoT sensors through their existing APIs and designed a unified data model in Postgres. The dashboard was designed with operations teams in mind — large, clear visualizations with drill-down capability. Alert thresholds and report automation were prioritized.

What We Built

Solution

A Next.js application backed by Node.js microservices and a Postgres database. Real-time data ingestion via WebSocket connections, interactive charts built with Recharts, and automated PDF report generation. Role-based access controls separate field technicians, operations managers, and executive views.
